Direct Influence

The following were identified as an essential target group for the project:

  • Project partners – energy and energy education specialists
  • Local educational authorities
  • Secondary school participant teachers
  • Participant workplace representatives
  • Secondary school participant pupils
  • Schools buildings’ managers

The active involvement of these groups was built into the project structure. They were required to contribute to the planning of the project activities, bring relevant expertise to inform the project work and contribute their feedback at crucial points. The local steering groups served to provide relevant advisory expertise.

Indirect Influence

The project action and dissemination aimed to promote a wider active engagement and take up of project ideas. Target groups included:

  • Other regional, national and international educational authorities
  • Non participant secondary schools
  • Non participant workplaces
  • Other agencies involved with environmental / energy related issues
  • Other school and community buildings managers
